Big Ten Defensive Power Rankings


The Big Ten has traditionally had the picture of being a smashmouth conference, where traces struggle for yards on the ground in chilly weather. Truly, the group with the nation’s stiffest run defense this past year came in the Big Ten. So did the second-best pass defense. In general, the convention was second to the SEC in points allowed per game (25.8) and directed Power Five conventions in turnovers forced.
