Desert Encounter camp eye third Canadian International

Following the seven-year-old triumphed at Woodbine on Saturday night connections of all Desert Encounter could put their sights on another Pattison Canadian International victory following year.
Desert Encounter has been a length winner of the Grade One heat this past year, had half a length to spare this occasion within runner Alounak that is German, also when beating fellow British raider Thundering Blue.
The David Simcock-trained gelding was registering a fourth win on the bounce after Group Three wins at Goodwood, Windsor and Newbury, along with his staff see no reason Desert Encounter cant bid to imitate Joshua Tree, who is the only triple winner of this 12-furlong race thus far.
Philip Robinson, racing manager for owner Abdulla Al Mansoori, told be lovely (to return in 2020). I dare say as he is for certain, if hes a horse that is happy, hell be back. He enjoys it here, why not?
The past three or four races he has just never stopped improving, hes still improving. You expect it from a four- or five-year-old but I think mentally he is improving so much.
He is enjoying his racing – he is only in a really satisfied place (at) this instant.
Although Joseph OBriens Red Tea was from the frame in the EP Taylor Stakes andrew Baldings Pivoine contested the International, but had to settle for fourth.
