Harry Kane states after they threw away a 2-0 lead against Olympiakos in the Champions 23, Tottenham haven’t learned from their mistakes.
Last year’s beaten finalists were held to a 2-2 draw in Greece despite leading through Lucas Moura conclusion and Kane’s penalty.
“It is possible to see why the director is frustrated,” stated England forward Kane.
“He’s been here for five years now and we’re still making similar mistakes as we had been the very first year.”
Tottenham also conceded a 2-0 lead on 1 September, and Kane said the team had to improve.
“We aren’t young any more, we are not inexperienced, we have played in big games for club and country,” he added.
“We have to try and find a means to go around it and also improve and get better. That’s all we could try to perform.”
After dropping two things, pochettino, who was appointed by Spurs in May 2014, disputed his team’s attitude. The next match in Group B of his side is in the home to champions Bayern Munich on 1 October.
“At the start of this year we are conceding a lot of opportunities and a lot of targets and we must alter this,” said the Argentine.
“The only way we can change is being harder . That’s the way we are going to approach days that are various and be consistent.
“Training should be more difficult. Psychologically harder.
“I feel very disappointed. From the first half, I was not pleased with our operation. In the beginning we had a strategy and the program wasn’t respected by us.
“That’s what disappointed me most and that is precisely what I told the players in half-time.”
Former Tottenham midfielder Michael Brown additional on BBC Radio 5 live:”I stated last year that Spurs had done extremely well but sadly they are just not likely to have the ability to maintain Liverpool and Manchester City, and that is still the case. They’re just not at exactly the identical level.
“They’ve got some great people but as a group together, this keeps occurring – that they keep slipping up and conceding aims at the incorrect time.
“We are becoming critical of Spurs and in which they have come from, but they’ve got this brand new arena and a few fantastic players. Can they keep progressing rather than be this selling club”
