“After obtaining 20 back in his head, he’s OK – the doctors did a wonderful job , as he had been cut all of the way into the bone. The health care provider will decide in the coming times when he’ll be back.
“He can miss the match in the weekend and possibly the upcoming couple after this. I will be surprised if we view Aribo play before the worldwide break.
“It is his first time out of London and he’s settled very well. This is going to be a drawback but knowing himhe will bounce back. He didn’t even wish to come off.
“I really don’t believe the participant has gone into deliberately hurt him but that in my novel is serious dangerous play and in any league, it is a card.
“Livingston are extremely immediate and physical. They pushed us in the second half but I am proud of those lads they stood together and stood it up .”
As for the visit of Aberdeen into Ibrox at the weekend, even Gerrard admits he’s a cautious of a negative that knocked them from both the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup last season, as well as securing a 1-0 league win at Ibrox in December.
“Aberdeen hurt us a lot this past year. They’re totally likely to be tough games and we will need to be prepared for that,” added Gerrard.
“The players know what they are going to confront, the admiration is that but if we find our degree, I am confident we will find a outcome.”
