“It’s still early doors (in the Champions League). We are fuming we. But there’s still five games to move – .
“We are obviously disappointed. We did not play our best football. Valencia arrived and stopped us playing how so you’ve got to give them credit we wanted.
“We’re going to have a lot of ups and downs in a year. We have got to move on and not dwell on it.”
Abraham is just one of academy graduates to have been given a chance under Lampard this season and hailed the financing of his manager.
“I have to provide it (my private form) into the manager and players,” he explained. “I had a small circumstance against Liverpool where I missed a penalty and out there they just supported me and believed in me.
“I’m playing with these amazing players that make chances, so I just have to be in the right place at the right time. It’s always wonderful to know you are believed by supervisor. Every game that you would like to do your very best for him personally.”
