High hopes for Sands Of Mali on Champions Day

Richard Fahey is hopeful Sands Of Mali will be back to his summit this month, to defend his crown.
Sands Of Mali posted a career best performance to spring a surprise in the Group One last autumn at the expense of Harry Angel.
The Panis colt has shown nothing like this form within his three races this season but Fahey considers his star sprinter is returning to his very best.

He consistently works well, he is an exceptionally great work horse. We are at which we want to be at this phase and happy.
To be honest, Im not certain what else is still turning up there in the present time, but I just feel that when we receive our lad back, and then I am not too worried about something.
It was really high on the priorities for this season, but we need to have him back rebounding, and that were not far away now.
